Who are you?

I am E.G. Seven. Author and poet.

Where do you live?

I live in Louisville, KY.

What’s your home life like?

I live with my girlfriend and daughter. We just moved to a new apartment and are still settling in. Between work and writing I just chill for the most part.

What genre(s) do you like to write? To read?

I write science fiction and fantasy. Sometimes blending the two genres. I would like to get into horror.

Why did you start writing?

The blame could be placed on so much. It started in the 6th grade for me. Back in 2001 my English teacher made us write a short story. I was instantly hooked. From then on I knew I wanted to write. It felt like I was supposed to write and or be a writer.

What do you do when you’re not writing?

I enjoy playing games on my PS4. Binge watching my favorite shows and reading.

Where do you like to go when looking for a new book to read?

I go on Amazon every now and again, but I usually go to half price books. I love paperbacks. New book smell is the best.

At what point do you call it quits when reading a new book?

That's hard to answer for me. I can usually get through a book all the way. Even when it isn't that good of a read. I feel that if someone wrote a book you owe them to finish reading it. Can't really judge something without getting through it all the way.

Are you independently or traditionally published?

I am self published.

How many books/stories have you published so far?

I have published A book of poems, a sci fi dystopian anthology, a space opera and a short story book. So 4.

What book/story are you currently promoting or working on?

I am working on Rebel Robotika right now. A science fiction novella.

What’s the elevator pitch?

The post modern city of Robotika has become the epicenter of the robot revolution.
Picture

How long have you been working on it?

At least a year.

When will it be available to buy? Where?

It will be available to buy October 1st, 2019 on Amazon.

How can readers find you?

What inspires you to keep writing?

“When I sit down to write a book, I do not say to myself, ‘I am going to produce a work of art.’ I write it because there is some lie that I want to expose, some fact to which I want to draw attention, and my initial concern is to get a hearing.”
-George Orwell

Anything you’d like to add?

Well I am a US Army veteran. I am the oldest of 3 siblings. I am a huge star Wars geek. I collect geek things. I also collect comic books like one buys food.

Many thanks to E.G. Seven for participating in My Laughably Inane Blog. You've got some amazing covers and I look forward to reading your works that are now on my TBR stack.
